All donations made to DGVS are exempted under section 80G of the Income Tax Act. This means that 50% of your donation amount is eligible for tax exemption. Please use the DGVS Tax Exemption Receipt to claim this exemption when filing your Income Tax returns. The existing 80G certificate of DGVS is valid till it is surrendered or withdrawn.

For one-time donation, the Tax Exemption Certificate will be sent within 10 days of the realisation of your donation. For regular monthly donations, a consolidated receipt will be sent at the end of the financial year.

Monthly giving programme is an inclusive approach which lends an opportunity to everyone to participate in social development. Monthly gifts are the most cost effective, as you can donate a fixed sum every month without feeling burdened.

Once you have submitted your information your payment will be processed by our secure payment processing service. One time donations through cheques will be processed on the next working day of receipt of the pledge form. In case of monthly donations, your first donation will be processed immediately. Whereas, the subsequent monthly donations will be processed between 10th and 15th of each month.

Your information is completely secure. Once you have submitted the information the data is transferred to our payment service provider and processed.

Making an online donation is simple and secure!

Here’s what you have to do to make an online donation on the DGVS website:

• Specify your donation details
• Specify the mode of payment
• Your selection will be displayed for a quick review. Please check the information carefully and ensure that it is correct. If not, change them as desired.
• Once you confirm that the enlisted details are correct, you will be taken to a secure payment gateway
• Fill in your credit card details; after which, you will get an immediate confirmation of your donation
• You will also receive an email confirmation with the unique transaction ID of your donation

No. But if this is the first time that you are making an online transaction that involves the use of a credit card, you need to ensure that the transaction is secure. It is always better to use the most updated browser.

It is safe. We adopt and ensure stringent security measures to protect critically sensitive information, including your personal information and your credit card details.

You can make a donation by using Credit Card, Debit Card, and Net Banking.

You can always email us to update any change in information regarding your address or phone number at funds@dgvsindia.com

You can discontinue your monthly contribution to DGVS anytime you feel like.
You will need to make a request at least 2 weeks in advance, before your next auto-debit date. You can write to funds@dgvsindia.com or call 0522-4336688 for any assistance.

To raise funds, we send direct appeals, updates via snail mail, and email. We also use other avenues like face-to-face marketing and telemarketing to reach out to several individuals. DGVS partners with third-party agencies to support the endeavour of raising funds.

Each representative/DSA (Direct Sales Agent) from the agencies should be able to provide the following:

• An identification card stating clearly that he/she is a DGVS representative
• The card will also carry the DGVS logo and contact details of our offices
• The relevant DGVS literature

The representatives are not authorized to collect/ ask for / accept any cash donations for DGVs. Only a cheque or Demand Draft in favour of Dehati Gramothan Vikas Samiti can be accepted by them.
