1. Projects with Dehaati Gramothan Vikas Samiti (DGVS)

Over 37 Years, DGVS’s work has been largely recognized for creating an atmosphere of socio economic development for every last man of the society. If you join a project, you can choose to support an entire project or just a portion of it, depending on its focus area-such as Elderly, Education, Health, Animal Welfare, Institutional Care, Vocational Training, Differently Abled, Vocational Training-or its work-girl child education (including remedial and non-remedial classes), reproductive health, SHG, micro-financing, institutional care, and community health. Our work extends across issues and geographies and therefore you have the flexibility to pick what is important to you. Using urban surplus materials as a powerful resource for large scale development works across the country; ranging from elderly, health, minority and tribal upliftment, beggary, education, sanitation, agriculture, water, livelihood, menstrual hygiene, and sustainability to environment. Spread across different geographies, DGVS’s work puts empathy and dignity first and foremost. Our holistic view of rural development is rooted in not only fulfilling their basic needs but empowering them to be the decision makers.  You can adopt one or more of our projects that fit your CSR needs in terms of geographical location and area of intervention. DGVS will be responsible for monitoring the program, providing programmatic direction and technical expertise to project staff and sending project impact reports periodically.

2. Corporate Donations

You can make a lump sum donation towards a specific cause that your company would like to support. From elderly, animal welfare, beggary, women empowerment, environment, education, child labour and health & hygiene to malnutrition, healthcare and gender inequality – you have a wide array of causes to choose from since DGVS works on all areas of society upliftment. Allow your staff the ability to make positive improvements by fundraising and skill-based volunteering in the lives of marginalized communities. We work in the fields of Elderly, Beggary, Animal Welfare, Water, Environment, Education (Formal / Non-Formal / Remedial), Women’s Empowerment (Reproductive Health, SHG, and Micro-Finance), Social Treatment, Environmental Wellbeing, Vocational Training and Differently Abled. Employees may also select the causes they are passionate about, and support by providing payroll and volunteer time.

Payroll Giving

Your CSR initiative can be a great way to get the staff involved too. DGVS’s Payroll Donation Scheme gives workers an effective way to feel linked to the social cause that the organisation has taken on. Employees should devote a certain amount of their monthly salaries along with their precious time to make a difference in society. This is an automated method once in place, which is less time-consuming. DGVS can also opt to provide a matching grant to attract employees. During disasters especially, many organizations and their employees have surprised us by contributing a certain a sum from their salaries. Our growing work itself speaks about the immense scale and efforts involved in its back-end which ensures that material reaches last mile in the Indian villages with dignity and care.

Payroll giving means a committed contribution from your organization and employees to DGVS on a monthly basis till you want.

Fill up Payroll Giving Form and share it with us. All monetary contributions to DGVS are exempted under section of 80 G. Individual receipts will be issued to your employees every quarter.

Donate

Have you ever dreamt of living in a better world? A world that is free from poverty, hunger and disease. We all have wished at some point in our lives that we were powerful enough to change the world, without realising that we have always possessed that power. ‘Giving’ is not just an act, it holds a much deeper meaning in the lives of both the giver and the receiver. An act of giving and sharing not only transforms one as a human being, but also helps the less fortunate to lead a better life. Apart from understanding the importance of giving, it’s equally important to understand how to contribute in a way that it benefits the needy in the best possible manner. When you donate to charity, you lend a significant helping hand in bringing about the welfare of communities with limited means. Contributing to an NGO like DGVS, that works to provide health and nutrition, education and protection to every living being is the right step ahead in enabling the society to achieve the required socio-economic growth. We look up to your generous support to cover our operational cost. Donate to help us continue on this movement to change lives while also availing a deduction under 80G of Income Tax Act. Being a tax-exempt entity, donors can avail tax benefits for all donations made to DGVS under Section 80G of Income Tax Act. We assure to take full responsibility to rationally distribute the donation, for the projects and campaigns who are in most need.

Let us discuss two more reasons as to why you must support DGVS.

It gives you real satisfaction

We have been blessed with a good life, which is something we must be thankful for. It’s also important to realise that not everyone is fortunate enough to have access to all the means required to live a fulfilling life – such is the current socio-economic scenario of India. Although economic and technological advancements have changed the world several folds over the past few decades, poverty still continues to haunt the lives of millions of people around the world. Innumerable people are deprived of basic essentials like food, education, healthcare, safety, shelter, etc.

If donating a small portion of your monthly income helps in changing the life of even a single marginalised child, then the act is totally worth it. Donating for a legit cause is sure to give you great inner satisfaction. Remember, there is no feeling bigger than the one you get by sharing and giving. So help these children and gratify your inner self to the core.

Small contributions lead to big changes

Before making a donation, one generally wonders if his or her small contribution will actually make a change at all. Try thinking this way. When you donate money to a DGVS, your money goes to a big pool as you join forces with lakhs of donors. This money is further utilised in the design and execution of life-altering schemes and programmes that change the lives of millions of vulnerable children. Therefore, even a small contribution means a lot and is used to make a large impact.

Conclusion

Many people want to do their bit for the society but their busy and stressed lives keep them from stepping on-ground and rendering their contribution. The best way out here is to provide your financial assistance to DGVS that has been doing some real work for the upliftment of society. Donate today and the amount of happiness and satisfaction that it will give you will be beyond your imagination.
