About Dehati Gramothan Vikas Samiti (DGVS)
Dehati Gramothan Vikas Samiti (DGVS) is a voluntary organization dedicated to improving the lives of rural communities in Uttar Pradesh. Established on August 13, 1986, and registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, DGVS has been working for more than three decades to support underprivileged and marginalized sections of society.
We focus on sustainable development, social justice, and community empowerment through various impactful programs.
For over 37 years, we have continuously worked to create awareness, provide support, and build self-reliant communities.

DGVS Believe in Three Pillars While adapted to meet local challenges and opportunities wherever DGVS work, all our programs have the same foundation in these three pillars.

At Dehati Gramothan Vikas Samiti (DGVS), our work extends across 15 States & 2 Union Territories, reaching diverse communities through development initiatives, government-supported programs, and grassroots interventions.

Before initiating any project, our team conducts detailed field assessments to understand local challenges and community needs. Based on these findings, we design sustainable and impactful interventions that improve livelihoods and strengthen local institutions.
Our integrated approach combines education, healthcare, skill development, rural tourism, agriculture, livelihood promotion, environmental conservation, and social development to create long-term positive change.
