DGVS Signs MoU with Mizoram SRLM under Government of India’s DDU-GKY 2.0 Scheme, Opening New Opportunities for Rural Youth

Dehati Gramothan Vikas Samiti (DGVS) has achieved a significant milestone by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mizoram State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MzSRLM/SSDM) for the implementation of the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY 2.0), a flagship skill development initiative of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.

This partnership marks the beginning of a collaborative effort aimed at empowering rural youth with industry-relevant skills, professional training, and enhanced employment opportunities. Through this initiative, DGVS will contribute to strengthening the skill ecosystem in Mizoram and support the vision of creating a skilled, employable, and self-reliant workforce.

DDU-GKY 2.0 focuses on providing quality skill training to rural youth and connecting them with sustainable livelihood opportunities. Under the MoU, DGVS will work closely with Mizoram SRLM to implement training programs that align with industry requirements and prepare young individuals for meaningful careers in various sectors.

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to improving livelihoods, promoting economic empowerment, and enhancing employment prospects for rural communities. By combining the grassroots reach of Mizoram SRLM with DGVS’s extensive experience in skill development and community-based interventions, the initiative aims to create lasting socio-economic impact across the region.

Speaking on this important occasion, representatives from DGVS expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the mission of youth empowerment and nation-building. The organization reaffirmed its commitment to delivering high-quality training, fostering employability, and supporting the aspirations of rural youth.

This MoU not only strengthens the partnership between DGVS and Mizoram SRLM but also reinforces the collective vision of the Government of India to create sustainable livelihood opportunities through skill development and workforce empowerment.

DGVS looks forward to successfully implementing the program and helping young individuals build brighter futures through knowledge, skills, and employment-oriented training. The partnership is expected to open new avenues of growth, self-reliance, and economic progress for rural youth in Mizoram.
